The first Bearcat Coaches Show of the year highlighted Northwest's season-opening cross country meet and looked ahead at football's scrimmage against Washburn.

Delanie Dykes and Jhordan Ccope took the top spot individually in the women's and men's races at the Newman Invitational on October 30. That jettisons themselves and their teams into the Division 2 National Invitational November 14 in Lubbock, TX. Dykes and Ccope, along with Northwest cross country coach Nick Gibson, join the show to discuss the meet.

Bearcat football is set to face Washburn in Topeka on Saturday, November 7, in the first of two scrimmages for Northwest. Head coach Rich Wright stops in to talk about the extended off-season, and expectations for Saturday's game.

Northwest athletic director Andy Peterson also stopped in to go over the protocols the department is facing, and how they are handling COVID-19.
